The perfect complement to Duncan Hines cakes and brownies. Duncan Hines Butter Cream Frosting is great tasting, easy to spread, and enough to generously frost two 8″ or 9″ layers, a 13″ x 9″ cake, a tray of brownies, or up to 36 cupcakes.
First introduced as Duncan Hines bread in 1952 through the Durkee’s Bakery Company in New York. In 1953 Hines sold the right to use his name to Roy H Park to form Hines-Park Foods. Conagra Foods then bought the cake licence. As of today Conagra Foods owns the Duncan Hines brand and has a number of cake mixes and frostings available.
